At Kalyan Moorti Kalakendra, every marble statue is crafted with patience, precision and traditional artistry. From selecting the finest marble to the final finishing and safe transportation, every stage is carefully completed to bring your vision to life.
In the first step, we extract marble from the mines and select the best quality marble for statues and idols—evaluating factors like grains, whiteness, structure and strength—to ensure the finest possible carving and finishing.
In the 2nd stage we make a sample of the clay model from which we have to make a statue. This is a professional art making process. We can easily make any changes in the clay sample as per the customer's requirements.
After selecting the marble, we cut it according to the statue we intend to create, and then we draw the design onto the marble with precise dimensions and shapes.
After the drawing is done, we shape the marble using a hammer and chisel, and now, with the help of advanced grinding machines, the rough marble slowly transforms into the desired form of the statue.
After shaping the statue, we perform finishing and buffing while paying close attention to minor details; this makes the statue's features clearly visible and brings out the natural luster of the marble.
The final step is painting, where we paint the facial features of the idols to give them divine expressions, followed by painting their jewelry in gold and coloring their garments. We strive to bring to life the customer's vision—specifically, how they imagine their deity—within the 3D statue.
We use an advanced liquid foam technique to pack the statues, along with iron or wooden boxes tailored to the statue's size; this ensures the statues remain completely safe, allowing us to easily ship them within India or internationally.
